All Saints' Church, Nocton

Re-roofing work continues at All Saints', and has recently moved on to the nave as worked has reached completion on the chancel.  After lengthy investigations into the composition and arrangement of the existing roof tiles, new tiles were laid on both slopes of the chancel, which saw the detailed pattern of the tiles reworked, as the photos show.

Inside the chancel. the decorative paintwork to the walls and ceiling is being carefully restored and repaired.  Works are set to reach completion in Spring 2012.
